Anna and Rachael's Guide To The Season AW15
The autumn/winter season is often described as ‘magic’, and although it seems like a cliché, it can’t be denied that falling leaves, bonfires, ski holidays and hot chocolate are nothing short of. Not to mention the end-of-the-year festive period, which provides a unique window of time to create some of the year’s best moments. As the season’s temperatures lend themselves beautifully to cosy knitwear and directional layering, we’re excited to introduce a joy-inducing palette on supersoft cashmere and charming new elements. Magic indeed. Here are the six key elements of Autumn Winter 2015.
Anna and Rachael
1. Graphic Design
A subtle interplay of both bright and neutral hues are seen in a compelling colour-block on sweaters. The jewel-like colours were inspired by natural gemstones and modern art.
2. Style That Pops We’ve gone for maximum texture by adding playful pom-poms on our sweaters and cardigans. Simultaneously fun and fashion-forward, they’re definitely the year’s conversation piece.
3. Heart-Warming Knits
In line with the season’s cheerful tone, we’ve placed bright heart motifs on our cashmere sweaters as pockets, patches, and as an all-over outline intarsia.
4. Haute Homebody
As self-confessed creatures of comfort, we wanted to take our home and leisurewear a step further, with cashmere sweaters and track-pant sets in signature contrasting colour combos. From your lounge to a long-haul flight, you’ll live in these.
5. Wear-Anywhere Dresses
Our versatile, go-to dresses feature relaxed shapes cut from the softest silky fabric. Like us, you’ll end up wearing them more than you’ll like to admit.
6. Trim Tailoring, Strong Silhouettes
Cold-weather skirts and tailoring require added structure, so we’ve crafted ours from wool into an elegant, architectural silhouette with bold pleats.
