It's On: The Chelsea Flower Show
The annual RHS Chelsea Flower Show is now on until this Saturday the 23rd of May.
If you're unawares, every year since 1862 the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London are brought to life for the annual RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the garden-equivalent of fashion week. A visual wonderland as well as a proper awards event, gardens conceived and created especially for the show are granted medals such as Best Artisan Garden. Receiving plenty of publicity, the show is attended by 157,000 visitors each year, including the Queen, Prince Harry and the rest of the Royal Family.
This year, gold medals have gone the Telegraph Garden, the Morgan Stanley Healthy Cities Garden, and a Perfumer's Garden in Grasse by L'Occitane. See the full list here.
Visitors should dress to impress and expect to make a day of it. After viewing the gardens, you can feast on everything from seafood platters, hot roast British beef, cakes and cream teas. And dabble in Laurent-Perrier champagne (a sponsor) aplenty.
Looking at the striking flower displays, we can't help wanting to work some blooms into our wardrobe with the floral prints of all floral prints from our collaboration with Liberty London. Browse the exclusive capsule here:
