How to style a Basic dress
All pieces in our Basics collection have been designed not only with quality and longevity in mind, but also to take the hassle out of putting together an outfit. Our dresses can be styled up or down, moving effortlessly from day to night with a simple change in accessories and shoes. Layer up with one of our Basic cashmere cardigans, or a sweater if you’re opting for the slouchy look. Pair with heels for a night out, or crisp, white trainers for laid back weekends.
How to wash your Basic dress
With the proper care, your Basic cashmere dress will last for years to come. Your new piece can be hand or machine washed every three to four wears, unless your piece is visibly soiled.
If you opt for machine washing, use a knitwear or delicate cycle, on a cold temperature with the lowest spin. A gentle detergent – such as baby shampoo or a specialist cashmere shampoo – is best. To dry, lie your piece on a flat surface in its natural shape to air dry, and cool iron inside out if needed.
Store your sweaters and cardigans folded – never hung – with cedarwood stars to keep moths at bay. Track pants should be folded in half and then hung in your wardrobe. Between washes, spritz with a garment refresher.
