Thanks to its versatility, one of our Basic cashmere cardigans can be styled up or down to suit a whole host of occasions. Pair alone with a midi skirt for a summer evening look, or layer over a T-shirt with your favouite jeans for more casual appearance.
How to wash your Basic cashmere cardigans
Despite the affordable price tag, you can still expect the same uncompromised Chinti & Parker quality from your Basic cashmere cardigan. With the right care and love, your pieces can last for years to come, making them a fantastic addition to any capsule wardrobe.
Your new cardigan can be hand or machine washed, and washed every three to four wears, unless your piece is visibly soiled.
If you opt for machine washing, use a knitwear or delicate cycle on a cold temperature with the lowest spin. A gentle detergent – such as baby shampoo or a specialist cashmere shampoo – is best. To dry them, lie your cashmere cardigan on a flat surface in its natural shape to air dry, and cool iron inside out if needed.
Store your sweaters and cardigans folded – never hung – with cedarwood stars to keep moths at bay. Track pants should be folded in half and then hung in your wardrobe. Between washes, spritz with a garment refresher to clean them between washes.
