Anything but Basic
Basic never means boring. As well as timeless black and grey, this collection also comes in various uplifting shades including sage green, fuschia, beige, bubblegum pink, and cobalt blue – because everyone deserves bright cashmere.
The pieces you’ll discover include floaty midi skirts, slouchy cardigans, V-neck and boxy-fit sweaters, and casual hoodies, along with this year’s ‘it’ piece - the knitted vest. Expect a gorgeous array of universally flattering silhouettes from pieces that will always look and feel great; the Chinti & Parker ‘Basics’ collection holds something for everyone.
How to wash your pieces from our ‘Basics’ collection
All items in the Chinti & Parker ‘Basics’ collection have been designed with longevity in mind. To ensure that they last for years to come, it’s essential that you care for them properly. Any delicate knits – both cashmere and cashmere blend – can be hand or machine-washed. Wash every three to four wears unless your piece is visibly soiled.
If you opt for machine washing, use a knitwear or delicate cycle, on a cold temperature with the lowest spin. A gentle detergent – such as baby shampoo or a specialist cashmere shampoo – is best. To dry, lay your piece on a flat surface in its natural shape to air dry, and cool iron inside out if needed.
Store your sweaters and cardigans folded – never hung – with cedarwood stars to keep moths at bay. Track pants should be folded in half and then hung in your wardrobe. Between washes, spritz with a garment refresher.
